Giulia's Bio

Giulia Haible, now 19 years old and a sophomore at New England Conservatory, has been playing the cello for 8 years and the piano for 10. After studying strictly classical from a young age she was introduced to Celtic fiddle music by Caroline, whom she has been playing with since the sixth grade. At the Boston Harbor Scottish Fiddle School a couple years later they formed a five-piece fiddle group with some other friends called the Scottish Fish. For the past three years Giulia has passed the MMEA Northeastern Senior Districts audition, enabling her to perform in the orchestra comprised of other selected members. Giulia enjoys coming up with arrangements and frequently writes fiddle tunes.
